Time and space, this mayan ceremony on private cenote is a dream come true.

This ceremony is based on ancient mayan traditions. Riviera Maya, as you can imagine, is placed where mayan culture developed ancient times. Cenotes might be one of the most important places for mayan culture. Energy and spirituality all around this mystic sites. It’s well known mayan people celebrate all kind of ceremonies at this locations.

We had an incredible and crazy weather, you can see on the photos. First, it was sunny, the light was not perfect but good, enough to bring my best for my photos. Then, clouds arrived, suddenly everything was darker, no sunlight at all, no shining, just neutral light. This was still good enough for my work, considering I used 2 flashes to help me improve and create the photos I want. Third, right at the middle of the ceremony it started to rain, no that much, just enough to worry about. Fortunately the rain passed, sunlight came back and we ended with beautiful light for this unique moments.

A great advantage on this private cenote is that we get to know it really well. I personally know this site from 6 years ago, everytime

Being a wedding photographer is an amazing experience. It’s also a very important job, you get quite big responsibility to capture once in a life moments. Time and space together captured to be remembered for ever.
